TOP 4 Android Super Phones under 10,000

Lets Compare these Monster Phones !

Lenovo A7000  (Len)                                                       Micromax Yureka   (YU)

LAVA Iris X8   (La)                                                         Xiaomi Redmi Note   (Xi)

There are a lot of  android  phones in  market  these days, but some phones they are different, coming with eye catching monstrous specs that too in bare minimum price. I choose these 4 phones coz of their powerful specs & call them “ANDROID SUPER PHONES” that are really value for money. So lets compare them.

Network

LAVA       :  2G, 3G

Lenovo    :  2G, 3G, 4G

Yureka     :  2G, 3G, 4G

Redmi     :  2G, 3G ,4G

Comment : So if we talk of latest trend, we need all latest stuff so LAVA lacks 4G.

Weight & Size

LAVA       :  143.4 x 71 x 8.6 mm  &  160 g

Lenovo    :  152.6 x 76.2 x 8 mm  &  140 g

Yureka     :  154.8 x 78 x 8.8 mm  &  155 g

Redmi     :  154 x 78.7 x 9.5 mm  &  199 g

Comment : So REDME is really heavy like a brick, Lenevo is lightest, Yureka is both light but bigger in size, LAVA is smallest.

SIM Slots

Comment : No need to compare all 4 are DUAL SIM phones.

OS

LAVA       :  Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), planned upgrade to v5.0.1 (Lollipop)

Lenovo    :  Android OS, v5.0.x (Lollipop)

Yureka     :  Android OS, CM11 (KitKat), planned upgrade to CM12 (Lollipop)

Redmi     :  Android OS, MIUI 5 (Jelly Bean), MIUI 6 available

Comment : So Lenevo gives Lollipop from box, Lava still on 4.4.2, Redme for Sure has released MIUI 6 a smart update. Lenevo leads here with latest OS, but YU has CM the CyanogenMod OS the best pre-rooted & customized OS in market from box. Though Lenovo has latest OS but YES CM-11 is enough to compensate Android Lollipop, coz of its unlimited Feature, I prefer YU’s CM11.

Display

LAVA       :  5.0 inches, 294 ppi pixel density, Dragon Trail Glass

Lenovo    :  5.5 inches, 267 ppi pixel density

Yureka     : 5.5 inches, 267 ppi pixel density, Corning Gorilla Glass 3

Redmi     :  5.5 inches, 267 ppi pixel density

Comment : So Lenovo & Redme gives no protection at all. LAVA is giving Dragon Trail yes its a new glass given by the best Glass making company of JAPAN, Asahi. It can bear 60kg of weight before breaking. Buts its 40% less scratch resistant & durable than Gorilla 3. Concluding LAVA has the highest resolution its enough to compensate glass strength, so LAVA is better than all & Lenovo is last with ZERO protection and less resolution & small size display.

CPU

LAVA       :  Octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A7

Lenovo    :  Octa-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53

Yureka     :  Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615

Redmi     :  Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A7 Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400

Comment : So except YU & Redmi all are Mediatek. And yes YU is giving the best processor in range a 64 bit Octa-core processor, none stand near but still other 3 are also octa core and give satisfactory results.

Camera

LAVA       :  8MP, 3MP

Lenovo    :  8MP, 5MP

Yureka     :  13MP, 5MP

Redmi     :  13MP, 5MP

Comment : So YU & Redme are winners in this category, further Redme Front Cam is better then YU & YU Rear Cam is better Redme as per reviews by my friends who own these phones.

Memory

LAVA       :  16 GB, 2 GB RAM

Lenovo    :  8 GB, 2 GB RAM

Yureka     :  16 GB, 2 GB RAM

Redme     :  8 GB, 2 GB RAM

Comment : So YU & LAVA are winners in this category, with their twice internal storage capacity as compared to other two & internal storage really matters.

Sensors

LAVA       :  Accelerometer, proximity,

Lenovo    :  Accelerometer, proximity

Yureka     :  Accelerometer, gyro, proximity

Redme     :  Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass

Comment : So Redme has an extra sensor i.e compass or magnetic sensor which is used by some apps and a not really useful but a good sensor. Lava & Lenovo even lacks a gyroscope. So Redme is winner of this category with lots of sensors.

Battery

LAVA       :  2500 mAh, 291 h Standby, 14 h (2G) / 9 h 40 min (3G)

Lenovo    :   2900 mAh, 264 h Standby, 39 h (2G) / 16 h  (3G)

Yureka     :   2500 mAh, 210 h Standby, 14 h (2G) /  8h (3G)

Redme     :   3100 mAh, 775 h Standby, 38 h (2G) / 14 h  (3G)

Comment : So Redme has the longest standby time almost double of all and comparable 2G & 3G with Lenovo so no need of powerbank for sure. Yureka has almost the worst battery backup, as per my sources it last for a in case of LAVA and Yureka and 2 days for Redme.

Price in India

LAVA       :  Rs. 9,349

Lenovo    :  Rs. 8,999

Yureka     :  Rs. 8,999

Redme     :  Rs. 9,999

Comment : So clearly YU & Lenovo are the cheapest of all & Redme is the most expensive of all.

Final Conclusion

Micromax Yureka is clearly the best phone of all in total, the only con in phone is its battery, battery is good for average usage lasts for a day but for a gamer, or extensive user, u may need a powerbank or a second recharge by evening. Else its a beast in pocket at such a low cost. Redme is second runner up coz of its extra sensors and a really rocking battery life. And a tie b/w LAVA & Lenovo coz both has one or other fault/con in them, may it be 5.0 inch screen of Lava or protection less screen of Lenovo, higher internal mem (16GB) of LAVA or higher reso front cam of Lenovo (5MP). So u decide LAVA & Lenovo, YU & Redme are 1st and 2nd respectively according to me.
